Hyderabad has no shortage of web development companies. Justdial alone lists hundreds. But choosing the wrong one can cost you months and lakhs. Here's how to evaluate them properly.
Any company can show you beautiful screenshots. Ask for live URLs of projects they've built. Visit those sites. Check if they're fast (use PageSpeed Insights), check if they're mobile-friendly, and look for real functionality — not just a homepage. If they can't share live work, that's a red flag.
Ask what technology they build with. The answer tells you a lot:
How do they keep you updated? Do they use milestones? What happens if there's a delay? A professional company should have clear answers. You want weekly or bi-weekly demos of work in progress — not a black box for 3 months and then a surprise launch.
Insist on a fixed-price, milestone-based quote rather than hourly billing. Hourly billing with no budget cap is a recipe for runaway costs. The quote should break down the price by feature or phase, so you know what you're paying for.
Ask explicitly: "Will I own the source code after delivery?" Some companies retain ownership of the codebase and charge you monthly for "access." You should receive the full source code, documentation, and all credentials upon final payment.
What happens after go-live? Bugs are inevitable. A professional company offers a defined support period after launch. Ask what's included and what isn't.
We're based in Hyderabad and we answer all of the above clearly before any project starts. Fixed price. Full code ownership. Live work you can check. Milestone demos throughout. 2 weeks free support after launch. No surprises.
